Hello,

I’m Burcu Yıldız, a visual artist based in Izmir, Turkey. My practice brings together painting, textile techniques, and material experimentation to explore form, texture, and narrative.

 

From an early age, I was drawn to art and have developed my work through both academic training and hands-on experience in studios. I hold a degree in Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts, which has shaped my multidisciplinary approach and continues to influence the way I think about composition, process, and presentation.

 

Alongside my studio work, I have exhibited in international group shows, art fairs, and curated exhibitions, while continuing to expand my practice across different mediums and contexts.
